Highland Meadows Pickleball Court Installation

The Highland Meadows neighborhood park is set to welcome a new state-of-the-art pickleball court installation, featuring a total of eight courts catering to the increasing demand for this rapidly growing sport both nationwide and within the local community.

Recognizing the popularity of pickleball, the town has allocated a budget of $450,000 from the Park Improvement Fund for the construction of a public-use facility. Following a comprehensive analysis, the Town Board approved the project in November 2023, reflecting the community's commitment to providing recreational opportunities that align with evolving sporting trends. Construction for this project is anticipated to begin in late spring or early summer of 2024.
