In an effort to help alleviate northbound traffic backups and improve safety at the intersection of Hollister Lake Rd./CO 257 and Main St. (CO 392), several new features will be added to the intersection and surrounding area.
Additional Northbound Lane
In order to match the lane configuration on Hollister Lake Rd. north of Sundance Dr., Hollister Lake Rd. will be widened north of Main St. to add an additional northbound travel lane.
Westbound Deceleration/Right Turn Lane
On Main St./CO 392, a westbound deceleration and dedicated right turn lane will be added. This additional lane will make the right turn movements onto Hollister Lake Rd. safer and less impactful to westbound traffic staying on Main St.
Sidewalk Connection
A detached sidewalk will be added on the eastern side of Hollister Lake Rd. which will connect the existing sidewalk to the north with the intersection.
