September 2026: Update

Public Hearing Draft – mid-September, 2026: On August 17, 2026, the Town Board and Planning and Zoning Commission held a Joint Work Session to discuss a preliminary draft of the updated Sign Regulations. This joint work session provided a forum for Town staff and the consultant to provide a high level overview of the updated regulations and for the Town Board members and Commissioners to ask questions. Based on this feedback, the consultant team, with final review by Town staff, will complete the Public Review Draft of the updated Sign Regulations which will be posted to the Project Connect webpage in mid-late September. A public hearing with the Planning and Zoning Commission is tentatively scheduled for October 21, 2026 at which time the Commission will consider and make a recommendation to the Town Board on the proposed amendments to Article XVII, Sign Regulations. Members of the public are encouraged to attend the hearing to provide comments and feedback on the updated Regulations.
