Project Update Sept. 23: Asphalt Patching Underway

As the construction season comes to a close this fall, the town will initiate its asphalt patching project on Sunday, Sept. 29, weather permitting. Crews will conduct night work along Main St. (CO 392), just west of Colorado Blvd., until Wednesday, October 2. This segment of the project will have the most significant impact on traffic.

Various locations throughout town have been identified for asphalt patching. Contractors will address these areas sequentially. Delays and lane closures may occur.

Asphalt patching involves cleaning and cutting out damaged areas, applying and compacting fresh asphalt and sealing the patch to enhance durability and extend the pavement's lifespan.
