Project Update: July 2026

The town continues to work with the engineering design team to progress the design to 100% construction-ready plans. Right-of-way (ROW) acquisition consultants are assisting the town in obtaining the ROW and easements needed for the project's construction. A real estate appraiser experienced in acquisition appraisals has prepared comprehensive appraisals for most properties requiring acquisition. The town has also paid for property owners to obtain counter appraisals as applicable. ROW negotiations are ongoing. Several property owners have entered into a memorandum of agreement with the town regarding acquisition and price.
