April 2026 Update

Construction at 12th Street and Walnut Street is largely complete, with only final touches remaining such as minor adjustments and site reseeding. These last steps will help restore the area and ensure long-term durability of the improvements.

In addition to the new storm line, other drainage enhancements were completed to support better water flow throughout the area. Together, these improvements strengthen the overall drainage system, reduce the likelihood of future flooding and enhance the reliability of the roadway during storms.

Once final restoration work is complete, the project will provide lasting benefits for nearby residents, businesses and anyone traveling through the area, especially during large rain events.
