The Eastman Park Skate Park Replacement project is scheduled begin construction in the fall of 2024, with a targeted completion date in late fall of the same year. This project is driven by the need to replace aging infrastructure within the skate park. The project received approval from the Town Board and has been budgeted for $300,000 from the Capital Improvement Fund, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing recreational amenities for the community.

During the construction phase, the skatepark will be closed for approximately 3 to 4 weeks.

The town has partnered with American Ramp Company for the design and installation of the new skatepark components. The design will be confirmed in mid May with construction beginning in early fall.

The public meeting was held on Monday, April 29 gathering input from over 50 skatepark users. Professional skaters Julia Brueckler and Cody McEntire listened to attendees on two proposed drafts for design. They will take the gathered feedback along with the survey results to complete the final design.

    Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture invites the public to attend to a dynamic Public Engagement Meeting on Monday, April 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Eastman Park Skatepark, 31700 Eastman Park Dr. This interactive gathering offers attendees the exciting opportunity to meet Olympic Athlete Skaters Cody McEntire and Julia Brueckler, who will skate alongside attendees and gather feedback on the design of new park elements.
