April 2026 Update

Resolution No. 2026-23, approving the Deed of Dedication for the CR 13 realignment, was signed by the Mayor at the April 27 Town Board meeting. Colorado Department of Transportation is currently reviewing final plans, specifications and advertising documents, with construction anticipated to begin in summer 2026 and continue through the end of the year.

This project will improve capacity and connectivity along the Colorado Blvd. corridor by realigning the roadway and shifting the intersection at Jacoby Rd. (CR 68 ½) to create a more continuous route and reduce congestion. Minor impacts to Kyger Open Space are expected but will not affect recreational use, and access will be maintained throughout construction.
