The Town of Windsor is planning for a potential 3-acre expansion of the Treasure Island Demonstration Garden, located in Eastman Park along the Poudre River Trail. This expansion will build on the garden’s original mission of community service, hands on learning and sustainable gardening.
Currently, the existing 1 acre garden provides a place to grow fresh produce, which is donated to the Windsor-Severance Food Pantry, to explore water-wise and native plants and to learn gardening skills.
The expansion is visioned to enhance the opportunities with new demonstrations gardens, family friendly and accessible spaces, shaded learning areas and interactive exhibits.
